About

Co-Healing started with a simple idea: to create a space where people feel supported, understood, and empowered to grow. We saw a real need, especially for people aged 15-35, who are navigating the challenges of adulthood while dealing with mental health or disability. We wanted to offer something different, with a mix of sporting activities, music engagement and respite.

Co-Healing is all about helping people build confidence, independence and a sense of belonging.

Music Engagement

Services

Co-Healing provides a range of personalised services to support individuals in achieving their goals and living more independent, fulfilling lives. We are about getting to know each person, understanding their challenges and working together to help them grow. Our goal is to be there every step of the way, providing the kind of personalised care and support that makes a real difference.

Meet the team

Andy

Andy

Hey there I'm Andy! I’m an easygoing and adventurous person with a love for sports, the great outdoors, and a goofy sense of humour that keeps life fun. I’ve been lucky enough to perform music professionally for many years, a passion that has taken me to incredible places and connected me with amazing people. Recently, I’ve embarked on the most exciting adventure of all—parenthood—with the arrival of my beautiful newborn daughter. I have a passion for cooking and enjoy the occasional video game. I'm a diehard Melbourne Demons supporter and I have two furry little friends (Pippa & Norman).

Nevada

Nevada

Hi my name is Nevada! I'm 21 years of age and currently living in the Geelong area. Growing up in a single-parent household presented its challenges, particularly in my schooling years. However, these experiences taught me resilience and adaptability. I've learned to embrace my journey, turning difficulties into opportunities for growth. The values that are most important to me include respect, love, kindness, and compassion. I strive to do the right thing in all situations and make it a priority to uplift those around me. Friends and family would describe me as selfless and good-hearted, always willing to lend a hand or offer support. In my free time, I enjoy going to the gym and boxing, a little bit of reading, learning history and socialising and I'm always eager to explore new experiences. My goals are to be the best version of myself and to pursue a career that gives me the ability to help others and to further my education in this type of work. I believe that with hard work and determination, I can achieve my aspirations and continue to grow into the person I want to be.

Beau

Emma

"Andy first took on my son as his support worker 4 years ago. At that time my son was reclusive, very anxious, self conscious and afraid to leave the house. Andy was able to build rapport by finding common interests, such as music and cooking, and instill a confidence in my son that has shocked yet delighted me! Outings and activities started with going out for coffee or to the supermarket but now my son is catching public transport independently, attending crowded concerts and taking boxing lessons. Andy has given my son a new lease on life, enabled him to accomplish things I never thought possible and boosted his self confidence. I'm now very excited about his future and could never thank Andy enough for everything he has done for our family."

Rachel

The variety of activities Co-Healing provides is amazing, from bmx riding, skateboarding and basketball to movies, lunch in social settings, guitar lessons or even a simple game of uno. I highly recommend Co-Healing Support Services. Their communication to myself and my family to support my son is fantastic. Our whole family has noticed the positive impact Co-Healing has had on my son.
